Bobby Wheeler is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Acorn Management Partners, where he helps connect strong issuers with the brokers and advisors who move markets. Starting in an entry-level role after early experience as a business development representative in the financial industry, he sharpened his skills in outreach, market engagement, and capital-raising, earning his way into leadership through consistent execution, effort, and results.

Earlier in his tenure at Acorn, Bobby served as Project Manager, driving shareholder growth for small- and micro-cap public companies by engaging financial advisors directly and simplifying complex client stories into clear, practical insights advisors could easily use with their clients.

Today, as SVP, Bobby leads business development from Acorn’s Sarasota office with an integrity-driven approach and a strong emphasis on teaching and training. He spends much of his time helping both internal teams and client management avoid common mistakes in how issuers present themselves, coaching them to communicate like operators while still speaking the language of Wall Street so their message is both authentic and effective.

Bobby’s military background reinforces his discipline, accountability, and ability to operate in complex, volatile environments, a mindset he brings to every mandate as he helps companies navigate uncertainty with clear plans, steady communication, and a focus on building durable relationships in the capital markets.
