As Chief Technology Officer at Acorn Management Partners, John R. Exley IV makes sure our teams, and our clients have the technology, data, and structure to execute with confidence. From CRM and database management to reporting and call infrastructure, he leads the design and upkeep of the systems that keep Acorn running smoothly behind the scenes.

John is Salesforce and HubSpot certified and oversees our use of tools like RingCentral, custom data platforms, monthly report validators, and our website and communications stack. His work touches everything from client‑facing reporting to internal execution models, improving speed, transparency, KPI tracking, and access to clean, usable data.

Having grown within Acorn from the associate level into his current role, John understands the process end‑to‑end on how brokers work, what clients expect, and what it takes to consistently execute complex outreach at scale. That perspective shapes the practical, operations‑first way he builds and refines our systems.

John is a Christian and brings that grounding into how he leads and serves others. When he’s not optimizing our workflow or refining a dashboard, you’ll usually find him on the water fishing or boating, in the shop working on woodworking projects, or on the golf course, still learning, and getting a little better every round.
